Vint Cerf Vint Cerf is an American internet pioneer who co-designed the TCP/IP protocols and the architecture of the Internet alongside Robert Kahn in the 1970s, earning him the title "Father of the Internet." TCP/IP became the fundamental communication language of the modern internet, enabling all devices to communicate across networks regardless of their hardware or software. He later joined Google as its Chief Internet Evangelist and has been an advocate for internet access as a human right, interplanetary internet protocols, and internet governance.
