# Stevie Wonder

Stevie Wonder is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and producer who has been blind since shortly after his premature birth, yet became one of the most creative and commercially successful artists in the history of popular music, recording 25 studio albums and winning 25 Grammy Awards—more than any other solo artist at the time of his prime output. His ambitious concept albums of the early 1970s, including "Innervisions," "Fulfillingness' First Finale," and "Songs in the Key of Life," are considered among the greatest works in the soul and pop canon. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1999.
