Salma Hayek Salma Hayek Pinault is a Mexican-American actress and producer who rose to international fame with her Oscar-nominated performance in 'Frida' (2002), a film she also produced. Born in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, she moved to Hollywood in the early 1990s and became one of the most influential Latin American figures in the entertainment industry. She is also vice-chair of Kering, the French luxury conglomerate, following her marriage to billionaire François-Henri Pinault.
