Prince

Prince Prince was an American musician, singer, songwriter, and producer from Minneapolis, Minnesota, whose virtuosic musicianship and genre-defying output—spanning funk, rock, R&B, and pop—made him one of the most original artists of the 20th century. His 1984 film and album "Purple Rain" catapulted him to global superstardom, and he is widely credited as one of the greatest guitarists and performers in rock and pop history. He died on April 21, 2016, from an accidental fentanyl overdose at his Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
