Pedro Infante

Pedro Infante Pedro Infante was a Mexican singer and actor who became one of the most beloved figures of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema and music, celebrated for his powerful voice, natural charisma, and deeply felt interpretations of ranchera and bolero. He starred in more than 60 films and recorded hundreds of songs that remain standards of the Mexican popular songbook. He died in a plane crash on April 15, 1957, at age 39, and is still mourned and revered in Mexico as "El Ídolo de México."
