Nadia Comaneci Nadia Comaneci became the first gymnast in Olympic history to receive a perfect score of 10.0 at the 1976 Montreal Games, doing so seven times during the competition. She won three gold medals at those Games and two more at the 1980 Moscow Olympics, transforming gymnastics into a global phenomenon.
