Luis Hernández Mexican striker nicknamed "El Matador" for his lethal finishing. He was Mexico's top scorer at the 1998 World Cup, scoring four goals including a stunning long-range strike against Belgium. Played in Serie A with Juventus briefly and was one of the great Mexican forwards of his generation.

Luis Ceferino Hernández Morales is a retired long-distance runner from Mexico. He claimed the gold medal at the 1975 Pan American Games in the Men's 10,000 metres, and represented his native country the following year at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montréal, Canada.
