Lee Jae-yong is a South Korean business executive who is the chairman of Samsung since October 2022. In 2017, Lee was convicted of bribery, embezzlement, and concealment of criminal proceeds. He served a prison sentence until being pardoned by President Yoon Suk Yeol in August 2022.
