The Milwaukee Cannibal

The Milwaukee Cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer was an American serial killer and sex offender who murdered 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991, committing acts of necrophilia and cannibalism against his victims in what investigators described as among the most disturbing criminal cases in U.S. history. He was arrested in 1991 after a potential victim escaped and alerted police, leading to the discovery of human remains at his Milwaukee apartment. Convicted of 15 counts of murder in 1992 and sentenced to 16 consecutive life terms, he was beaten to death by a fellow inmate at Columbia Correctional Institution in November 1994.
