# Gustavo Díaz Ordaz

Gustavo Díaz Ordaz served as the 48th President of Mexico from 1964 to 1970. His presidency is defined by the Tlatelolco Massacre of October 2, 1968, in which government forces killed hundreds of student protesters days before the Mexico City Olympics. He later admitted personal responsibility for the massacre.
