Don Neto

Don Neto Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo, known as "Don Neto," was a senior figure in the Guadalajara Cartel alongside Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo and Rafael Caro Quintero, helping to centralize Mexican drug trafficking operations in the early 1980s. He was convicted in connection with the 1985 kidnapping and murder of DEA agent Enrique Camarena and sentenced to 40 years in prison in Mexico. He spent decades incarcerated, serving much of his sentence under house arrest due to advanced age and deteriorating health.
