# Baby Face Nelson

Lester Gillis, known as "Baby Face Nelson," was an American bank robber and associate of John Dillinger who holds the dubious distinction of killing more FBI agents than any other person in the Bureau's history, having shot and killed three agents over the course of his criminal career. Despite his youth and slight build, he was considered highly dangerous and prone to extreme violence. He was fatally wounded in a gunfight with FBI agents on November 27, 1934, near Barrington, Illinois, dying of his wounds later that evening.
