Mexican goalkeeper who became the first player in history to appear in five FIFA World Cups (1950, 1954, 1958, 1962, 1966), a record later equaled by Lothar Matthäus and Gianluigi Buffon. One of the greatest pioneers of Mexican football and a FIFA Order of Merit recipient.
