Andrés Molina Enríquez Andrés Molina Enríquez was a Mexican sociologist and legal scholar whose 1909 masterwork Los grandes problemas nacionales provided a sweeping sociological diagnosis of Mexico's land crisis and indigenous inequality on the eve of the Revolution. His analysis of caciquismo, mestizaje, and land tenure directly shaped the agrarian reform provisions of the 1917 Constitution, earning him recognition as the intellectual architect of Mexican land reform. He is a seminal figure in Latin American social science.
