Alfonso Cuarón

Alfonso Cuarón Alfonso Cuarón is an Oscar-winning Mexican filmmaker regarded as one of the greatest directors of his generation. He won Academy Awards for Best Director and Best Film Editing for 'Gravity' (2013) and again for Best Director and Best Cinematography for 'Roma' (2018), a deeply personal black-and-white film set in 1970s Mexico City. Along with Guillermo del Toro and Alejandro González Iñárritu, he forms part of the celebrated "Three Amigos" of Mexican cinema.
